Short Description: Buried resistors in LTCC can be manufactured with a tolerance of about 30%. This high tolerance decreases the number of possible applications. On the other hand, resistors placed as close as possible to the related electrical function can reduce parasitic effects. The latter is important for microwave circuits. High voltage pulse trimming offers an opportunity to adjust embedded resistors. The trimming procedure will be developed and the process will be verified with a number of resistor paste systems regarding stability, noise, TCR etc.
